I’m looking for someone experienced with installing heavy-duty stainless steel mesh into existing screen doors. The job is to upgrade two sliding screen door panels by removing the current flyscreen mesh, fitting 0.9 mm stainless steel mesh, and installing two Petway medium dog doors (one in each door). I will supply both the mesh and the dog doors. Because the mesh is thick security-style mesh, it will need to be mechanically fixed into the frames (for example using clamp strips or riveted fixing), not standard rubber spline. The installer will need to supply any required fixings or mounting hardware such as rivets, screws, clamp strips or backing plates needed to secure the mesh properly. I will supply mesh and doggy doors. The doors will then need to be refitted so they slide properly and the finish is neat and solid.
