Hi there! I’d like to install a ceiling fan and pendant light in the lounge room of our CBD apartment. Ceiling is plaster. There were previously down lights in these locations. Note that this is an apartment block in the middle of the city that sadly has NO PARKING. Street parking is easiest early in the day. I have found a pendant and ceiling fan that I’d like installed. I haven’t purchased them yet as I want to consult with an electrician to make sure they will work. I am happy to supply once you say they will work. The electrical in the apartment was redone after a renovation about 3 years ago.

I’ve tried carefully unscrewing it myself but don’t want to force it and risk breaking the glass or damaging the fitting. Looking for someone to come and safely loosen and remove the glass cover.
