Hello, We are looking for a skilled handyman, joiner, or cabinet maker to repair a broken cabinet door hinge at our retail store, in Bendigo Marketplace. The Issue: A cupboard door in a high-traffic staff area will not stay closed. The hinge is broken, with part of the metal snapped, causing the door to constantly swing open. This creates a significant collision and safety hazard for our staff. The Job: The task is to repair the door so that it closes and functions correctly. The scope of work will involve: 1. Assessing and removing the damaged hinge from both the door and the cabinet carcass. 2. Supplying and installing a new, suitable replacement hinge. 3. Securely re-hanging the door. 4. Adjusting the new hinge to ensure the door is properly aligned, hangs straight, and opens and closes smoothly. Please note: The successful contractor must supply ALL necessary materials for the job, particularly the correct replacement hinge. The cost for this must be included in your offer. I'm looking for someone - ideally a team of two people - to come and install my partner's Mum's new 5m W x 3m D Pergolux pergola at her home in central Woodend, VIC. This pergola comes in a boxes with self-assembly instructions, much like IKEA. Was just delivered yesterday and currently in storage in her garage. Attached pics show the pergola in question, along with a photo of the rear of her house, where the pergola will be situated (it will need to be bolted into the concrete paving and will be sitting up against the back wall of the house). I've also attached some images from the Pergolux website of what it will look like when assembled. Keen to hire someone ASAP to come and assemble this. If you can provide an idea of previous experience with similar jobs, total cost and availability when applying for this task, that would be much appreciated. Please no time wasters.
