What does a grocery delivery service include?
Grocery shopping and delivery include picking grocery items off the shelves, taking them through the checkout, and transporting them back to your place. Your grocery shopper will coordinate the shopping and delivery time with you, usually with a same-day grocery delivery option. Here's how:
Grocery list
The first thing you’ll need to do is to make a grocery list. Try to be as specific as you can, including notes on whether you prefer a specific brand and how many of each item you’d like. List down essential items like fresh milk, fresh juices, bread, other fresh food like fruits and vegetables, or deli and meat. Make sure to indicate if you prefer gluten-free, organic, or vegan too.Â
Others also specify if they like international groceries like Asian, Mexican, European, Indian, Korean, or Chinese. And while you're at it, you might want to add cat food and dog food in your list too.
Grocery shopping
Once you've shared your list with your grocery shopper, keep an eye out on your app's messaging tool as your tasker heads out to your grocery store of choice. Make sure to respond to follow up questions just in case items in your list are not available and you like to replace them with something else.Â
Your grocery shopper will pick out your items, check them out, and pack them in grocery bags. You will also be sent a receipt so you can approve the cost of the grocery shopping. Meanwhile, prepare a safe place (preferably outside your front door) to drop off the goods.
Grocery home delivery
Once everything is packed and ready, your grocery shopper will drop off the goods to your doorstep. Wait until the delivery person is 2 meters away before picking up your items.Â

_Every other day_, I need items purchased from Coles, Woolworths, and Top Juice, and delivered ~0.6 km away from Bankstown Central. The shopping needs to be done around the morning, before the good fruits e.g. blackberries are gone. Rarely, when items are out of stock, you'll have to go another location. The items need to be carefully inspected for expiration date or quality. I'll train you to do that, but you do need some ability to see and examine things. The shopping needs to be done reliably, following the training. The items should not be damaged in transit. Communication must be reliable, to get my shopping list, and to inform me if you cannot do the shopping. The shopping and delivery task takes about two hours. The pay is the _per-day_ pay, i.e. paid every other day, assuming this is done every other day. If you are very good or never miss a day, this pays more. Edit: I'll pay you separately for the groceries themselves in advance, by cash/gift card/CC, don't worry...
