Our galvanised gas line has corroded in multiple areas causing a gas leak in mainline (already tested for leaks) - Will need to bypass current gas line and run new gas copper gas line - Works include - dig trench 25m from gas metre to side of house and connect onto existing gas line - Conctete footpath next to house will need to be sawcut and removed to place copper line to be underneath ground. - Once clearance has been made run gas line on side of house to connect onto current line. - Install new 20mm gas service from authority metre isolation valve at the front of property. All to existing appliances. - neatly clip in basement -pipe sizing , pip and fittings in accordance with australian standards. - Test new gas line for any leaks. - Once completed backfill trench & re-concrete. - commision gas appliances -remove all rubbish - issue compliance certificate to authorities Cost to include GST and other sundry items. Our largest Gas ring seems to burn a little out of control and no matter how we position the ring or clean it the issue remains. This means the flames come around the side of the pan when cooking.
