Hey so-water damage happened and theres like-2 to 3 floorboards making squishing noises which I presume is water- I'm in a lot of shit money wise and need help asap :,)

Fix squeaky floorboards at bottom of staircase We need an experienced carpenter or flooring tradesperson to fix squeaky floorboards at the bottom of an internal staircase. The floorboards appear to need packing and securing to stop movement and eliminate the squeaking. There is crawlspace access underneath the floorboards, with approximately 80 cm to 1 m of clearance. The job will involve: * Inspecting the squeaky section of flooring * Accessing the area from the crawlspace underneath * Identifying the cause of movement or squeaking * Packing/supporting the affected floorboards or joists as needed * Securing the floorboards properly to prevent further movement * Ensuring the repair is neat, stable, and safe * Cleaning up after completion We are looking for someone with carpentry or flooring repair experience. Please bring your own tools and any materials needed for packing, fixing, or securing the floorboards. Photos can be provided, and you are welcome to inspect before confirming the final price.

Floorboards squeaky. We need someone to pack them

1.5m x 1.5m of vinyl boards to be laid

We have floating floors which are glued on to solid wooden floors. The job is to carefully chisel or cut out about 16 boards and reinstate new boards on top, glueing and nailing them. Over time, the surface of these boards has become damaged by traffic and water which is why we want to have about 10 of these boards replaced. The boards are very firmly glued down to the underlying solid timber floors. Getting them out is not easy and requires both a fair bit of force as well as very careful work in order to not damage the surrounding boards. Please let us know your experience with this sort of work. Any questions please ask. A site inspection in Kensington would be a good idea. I need floorboards laid in a small area. The total area is 1300mm x 800mm I need the 3 existing damaged hardwood floorboards removed and the entire space then laid. It will likely take 7-8 floorboards at 1300 mm in length I want to try to match the existing hardwood floors in the kitchen. The new flooring in this space will need to sit flush with the existing floorboards in the kitchen

I would like the yellow tongue floorboards taken up and replaced around the edge of this floor and hallway/landing. Only the boards where you can see the water staining. It's in a smallish bedroom and a smaller area outside of this bedroom. I've posted photos of the two spaces and then a few closeups of the stained areas to be replaced.

I’m converting a small storage room into a study nook and need floorboards installed to cover an exposed concrete subfloor where built-in cabinets were recently removed. The job involves three tasks: 1. Install Skirting Boards ∙ Install supplied skirting boards around the perimeter of the are as shown in the photos to finish the floor edges clean 3. Patch Holes in the Wall ∙ There are a few holes and damage spots in the walls left over from the cabinet removal ∙ Please patch and prep the walls ready for painting – I will do the painting myself, so just needs to be sanded smooth and ready to go. I will supply the filler for the wall patching. This is a relatively small task for someone that knows what they are doing.

Hi, I renovated 15 yeas ago. Having carpet layed in my bedrooms. At the time the floor boards very soft in areas and the builder laid some type of tin product over parts on the floor …. I didn’t need new boards in the bedrooms. Now… I can feel a floor board is broken in another area. Hoping the carpet can be lifted and the area fixed.

These floorboards buckled after a dishwasher water leak. We have lots of spare boards that can be used to replace them. We also have the tan floor cover that needs to be glued on top to make the angled edge smooth. It's important to us that the surface becomes safe (no trip hazard) and the work is high quality.
