The flooring needs to have the pressure released so it sits completely flat when stepped on. Details: Scope of work: Release tension on 3 specific bumpy spots. This will likely involve removing the skirting boards/scotia, trimming the edge planks near the wall to create a proper 8–10mm expansion gap, clicking the boards back down, and re-attaching the trim. Floor type: Existing laminate floorboards. Location: Ground floor unit with easy access. Tools/Materials: Please bring all necessary tools (such as a multi-tool, pull bar, chisel, and trim adhesive/nails). Please provide a quote including all labor. Ready for someone to complete this as soon as possible. Thank you! Installed 5 months ago and they started to buckling ( pulling up when step on them), and creaking as well. Unit is around 50sqm and around 5 spots that needs fixing.

I have some floor boards that previously became swollen during summer. Recently, one of the rows of floor boards popped out of the floor. They are now slightly too big to be put back into the floor and I think need to be cut down to size and then re-inserted. Would appreciate someone’s help with these.

The current boards were previously replaced using the wrong thickness (7.5mm instead of 6.5mm), resulting in a noticeable lip between boards. I need floorboards laid in a small area. The total area is 1300mm x 800mm I need the 3 existing damaged hardwood floorboards removed and the entire space then laid. It will likely take 7-8 floorboards at 1300 mm in length I want to try to match the existing hardwood floors in the kitchen. I would like the yellow tongue floorboards taken up and replaced around the edge of this floor and hallway/landing. Only the boards where you can see the water staining. Install Skirting Boards ∙ Install supplied skirting boards around the perimeter of the are as shown in the photos to finish the floor edges clean 3. Patch Holes in the Wall ∙ There are a few holes and damage spots in the walls left over from the cabinet removal ∙ Please patch and prep the walls ready for painting – I will do the painting myself, so just needs to be sanded smooth and ready to go. I will supply the filler for the wall patching. This is a relatively small task for someone that knows what they are doing.

Hi, I renovated 15 yeas ago. Having carpet layed in my bedrooms. At the time the floor boards very soft in areas and the builder laid some type of tin product over parts on the floor …. I didn’t need new boards in the bedrooms. Now… I can feel a floor board is broken in another area. Hoping the carpet can be lifted and the area fixed.
