I need a flooring specialist or experienced carpenter to remove a small tiled entry section (approx. 1m x 1m) that sits 2cm higher than the rest of the floor. The Task: 1. Carefully remove existing tiles and the cement bedding underneath to reach the subfloor. 2. Prepare the subfloor so it is level with the rest of the room. 3. Patch in matching laminate floorboards (l have the spare boards ready to go). 4. Install a slim transition trim at the door sills if needed. Note: The existing floor is a floating laminate. I need someone who knows how to "weave" new boards into an existing floor or use a proper joining strip for a flush finish.

Lay hybrid Embelton floor boards. 1.85 x 2.5m room. Floor trims already on. Requires cutting of boards to suit on two edges. All materials provided. Bring cutting tool.

Want carpets that are ideally renter friendly & stain resistant (mid level pricing carpet). Floor boards we are wanting a hybrid light coloured with hearing bone style. Taking up existing carpets prepping the underlying floorboards sanding coating polishing it’s a small home 3 x beds 1 x hallway 1 x living - lay floorboards on a cement floor 4 x 2

I would like the yellow tongue floorboards taken up and replaced around the edge of this floor and hallway/landing. Only the boards where you can see the water staining. It's in a smallish bedroom and a smaller area outside of this bedroom. I've posted photos of the two spaces and then a few closeups of the stained areas to be replaced.

Install Skirting Boards ∙ Install supplied skirting boards around the perimeter of the are as shown in the photos to finish the floor edges clean 3. Patch Holes in the Wall ∙ There are a few holes and damage spots in the walls left over from the cabinet removal ∙ Please patch and prep the walls ready for painting – I will do the painting myself, so just needs to be sanded smooth and ready to go. I will supply the filler for the wall patching. This is a relatively small task for someone that knows what they are doing.

Hi, I renovated 15 yeas ago. Having carpet layed in my bedrooms. At the time the floor boards very soft in areas and the builder laid some type of tin product over parts on the floor …. I didn’t need new boards in the bedrooms. Now… I can feel a floor board is broken in another area. Hoping the carpet can be lifted and the area fixed.

I have approximately 10-12 floorboards that need to be cut to size to fit around a cupboard. I have the measurements and boards ready. Happy to come to you if that's easier with tools etc.

These floorboards buckled after a dishwasher water leak. We have lots of spare boards that can be used to replace them. We also have the tan floor cover that needs to be glued on top to make the angled edge smooth. It's important to us that the surface becomes safe (no trip hazard) and the work is high quality.
