Using a 1.2m straight edge, I found some spots with up to 5mm height difference, mainly slightly raised (peaked) areas. I need someone experienced in floor levelling / floor preparation to: • Inspect and identify uneven areas • Grind down high spots or use self-levelling compound where needed Room size : approximately 14m2

I need to add a small section of polished concrete floor to match existing. We are removing the fireplace and plinth in the photos attached. There is a section of floor underneath the plinth that is missing. The floor is a concrete screed over joists, on the first floor of a warehouse in Richmond. The section required is approx 3300mm x 1100mm x 40mm and is edged with steel strips. The surface is polished and looks like it has a varnished finish. The old fireplace is being removed on Monday 29 September. The work could be commenced on Mon 29 afternoon or Tue 30.

grind off old membrane residue from concrete floor approx area 7m2, I’ve scraped and cleaned as much as I could however could not get rid of the last layer which is really hard, grinder would work perfectly for this, just need to prepare it for a screed later on
