We need 2 patches completed in our carpet that was damaged by our dog when he was a puppy. We have spare carpet to do the job. The biggest one is no more than 100mm x 100mm. The other is only about 30mm x 30mm. I am getting carpet installed in two bedrooms. Dates TBA. Need two people to dissemble the bed. It is a gas lift bed and to move furniture around for carpet installation. Post installation, assembly of bed also needs to be completed. You would need 2 people to complete this task Pics provided. The two fabric handle enable the bed to go up. The bed needs to be dismantled, put somewhere in the living room and then assembled after the carpet installation has been completed, which may take between 2-4 hours.

I’m not sure if anyone can help, but I’d really appreciate some advice. A couple of months ago, I hired a carpet repair specialist to clean a room where my puppy had multiple urine accidents. Initially, I just wanted a steam clean, but he told me the carpet was too deeply soiled and needed to be cut out and taken away for a deep clean. When he cut a small section, I could see the urine had penetrated deep into the carpet. He quoted me $450 for the process but said he’d do it for $300. This was around Christmas, and he told me he’d return in a week. It’s now been over two months, and he keeps failing to show up. I’m getting fed up and considering looking elsewhere. Before I do, I’d like to know—does $300 sound reasonable for removing, deep cleaning, and reinstalling a small carpet section (about 1m x 40cm)? Or does this seem overpriced? Also, what’s the typical cost of replacing a small carpet section like this? Thank you
