I need my apartment's carpet to be glued back to the floor. It's a very old carpet, I just need the corners to stay in place. It's only corners, not the whole carpet.

I have a gap in my carpet due to installing a new door. Not sure of price so I put $200. Please provide a quote. I have a spare piece of the carpet and underlay, as shown in the photos. However, the pile goes in a different direction so I am guessing that will not work. Alternatively, there is carpet flooring in two built in wardrobes so a piece could be cut from there if it was possible to replace that with a similar section. I am looking for someone to join that spare piece to bridge the gap.

My washing machine leaked onto the carpet and I'm currently drying it out but I think the underlay needs to be replaced. Im looking for someone to come and take up the carpet and roll it back and remove the underlay so that the slab can dry out.
