I'm looking for an experienced handyman or fencing contractor to replace a rotten fence post on a white wooden picket fence measuring 110cm in height. Scope of work: • Remove the existing fence post, which has rotted at the base . • Supply and install a new fence post suitable for the existing fence with post cut to fit existing cross beams as detailed in the picture. • Ensure the new post is securely concreted into the ground. • Realign the affected section of the fence so it matches the existing posts and maintains a straight, level appearance. • Leave the work area clean and tidy after completion. • Note – the post does not need to be painted

Gate Repair – Carpenter/Handyman Required Our closing wooden back gate is no longer closing properly and needs to be repaired prior to our upcoming pool inspection. The gate appears to be sticking at the top and is partially warped and out of alignment with the locking mechanism. We have already had both a locksmith and a handyman inspect the gate, however neither has been able to rectify the issue. We are looking for an experienced carpenter/handyman who can repair and realign the gate so that it closes properly and is self-locking. Description I need a handyman to fix the alignment of the latch on outdoor gate. As shown in the photos, the latch and catch are currently not lining up correctly. I would like a small wooden piece/block added behind the catch/keeper to raise it and bring it into the correct position and alignment with the sliding latch. The existing latch can be reused if possible. The main requirement is to: * Add a suitable wooden piece behind the catch. * Raise and reposition the catch so it lines up with the sliding bolt. * Secure the wooden piece and catch firmly. * Make sure the latch slides in and out smoothly and holds the gate securely when closed. Need fence repaired/ fixed

A newly installed fence in my backyard that connects between my neighbour and myself has a gap all the way along the bottom where it meets the ground. I would like a solution to close this gap over as both myself and my neighbour have dogs.

Hey, the hinges on my outdoor wooden gate have come loose and the screws aren’t holding properly anymore. Some screws may need replacing. Just looking for someone to re-secure the hinges properly and make sure everything is solid.

Due to wear, the wooden anchor post securing our back gate has lost its hinges and the gate no longer attaches to it.
