The old gate was removed to allow access to the backyard, and I now need to reinstall a gate. The gate can be either Colorbond or timber. The passage is approximately 2.0 m wide, and the original gate was about 1.1 m wide. The original gate posts were hardwood, approximately 100 × 70 mm. After removing the original posts, there are existing two holes approximately 100 × 75–80 mm and about 600 mm deep, and a hardwood post attached to the wall. The walls of the holes are very smooth, which suggests the holes were created during the construction of the concrete slab. and the posts were inserted into the holes. Can we have a 65x65 steel post insert the existing hole and filled the gap with proper grout? Install a suitable bracket at the top of the post and secure it to the existing concrete slab to provide additional support and prevent the post from moving. I clean the dirt on the 10x8cm hole. it is 60 cm deep with dirt on the bottom, I can dig into 70 cm deep to rmove dirt further donw the hole. it suggess the hole was constructed with concrete slab and post was inserted into the hole rather than had a concret footing.

Supply and install 50 meters worth of colour bond fencing. The section is quite steep I will have a 1.8 tonne excavator there you can use if required.

Replace the sloping part of the fence by adding 2 posts long one to support current one and the shorter one to be height of black fence. All timber and concrete supplied but will need to supply screws/nails etc

The passage width is 2.5 meter. single small gate around 1 meter. there is a stormwater pipe around 1 meter from the wall and 45 cm meters deep from the top surface of storm water pipe. Under the brick paver is 10 cm concret slab. The hole just shows the concret slab. two options to avoid the stormwater pipe: one: having a gate 1.2 to 1.3 meters, post for latch attaching to the wall. two: standard size gate (0.9 to 1.0 meter gate), two concrete footongs for hinge post and latch post

Rehang a dropped fence gate. Detach fence gate from post. Remove post from ground.Reconcrete fencepost in ground. Reattach fence gate to post

Replace single fence paling attached by galvanised nails to a metal gate frame and re-attach latch for gate locking mechanism. Paling is 173cm high. Cut paling to match top and bottom line of fence and handle circle. Check gate locking mechanism working after replacement.

I have a small section of my retaining wall that needs fencing. One side of the fence has already been completed, and I just need the other side done. Looking for some quotes to put in a new gate at the top of our external stairs onto our deck. Quotes to include materials cost. Was thinking timber but open to ideas of the best style of gate. The space in between the existing posts is approx 90cm wide, and would need to be about 1m tall. Currently we have an aluminium gate but was poorly installed by previous owner, doesn’t properly fit the space and has now broken. We have a toddler who’s desperate to get down the stairs so need this done asap. Thanks!

3.6m side access fence with gate installed. Min. 1800mm high. Fence will be secured to the Besser block posts on either side. Flanged posts secured into the concrete slab. There used to be a side access/gate here but it was falling apart so it got taken down. We recently got a dog so need the backyard secured again. Price is for labour only. Materials will be extra I've looked at Rapid Gate from Bunnings, however I think the panels would need to be cut to fit the gate. Bonus points for using recycled materials. I don't care what the gate is made of. The cheaper the better. As long as it's secure.

I am looking for someone to build a steel framed metal gate. Photos include measurements there is currently a lattice screwing to the space to close it off so the gate will replace this. I will supply all materials so price is for labour, however I am happy to discuss a labour and materials price too.

Looking for someone to install a Sureguard Pingg-String cat containment system on the timber paling fence at my property in Augustine Heights. Total fence perimeter is approximately 58 metres. All components have been purchased and will be provided on the day. This includes insulated cable, extension kits, end post kits and energiser included. The job involves mounting bracket arms and insulators along the top of the fence, running and tensioning the wire angled inward toward the yard and rigging the gate loop over the single gate. The energiser position will need to be assessed and decided on the day based on what works best for the setup. It needs to be installed in a north-facing position with access to full sun. There is one fold-down clothesline mounted to the fence that will need the wire routed carefully around it with extra insulators either side to avoid contact with the metal frame. No drilling into structures required as all fixing is into timber palings. Happy to be home on the day to show you around the property before you start.
