Event Staff Needed – Private Party | Wheeler Heights | Sat 14 November We’re looking for 2 experienced, friendly event staff to help with a private party at our home in Wheeler Heights on Saturday 14 November. We’ll be preparing a relaxed Italian-style menu, including wood-fired pizzas from our home pizza oven, grazing food and simple dishes. We’re looking for people who are confident jumping between basic food preparation, cooking assistance, serving and keeping the kitchen running smoothly throughout the party. Tasks will include: * Food preparation and plating before guests arrive * Assisting with preparation and cooking of wood-fired pizzas * Replenishing grazing/food stations * Serving and clearing food throughout the party * Keeping the kitchen, food prep and serving areas clean and organised * Washing glasses, plates and cooking equipment as needed * Clearing rubbish and general tidy-up throughout the event * Helping with the final kitchen clean and pack-down We already have a dedicated bartender, so this role is primarily focused on food, serving and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. We’d love people who are experienced in private events or hospitality, proactive, capable and happy to just see what needs doing and get on with it. Approximately 4-5hours, with exact start/finish times to be confirmed. Looking for $40/hr per person. Please let me know your hospitality/event experience, whether you have experience with food prep or pizza ovens, and your hourly rate. References/reviews preferred.

Balloon garland assembly and installation Looking for someone experienced with balloon garlands to assemble and install a garland on the day of a birthday party. The kit is already purchased and on-site, 124pcs of latex balloons in three sizes plus racing-themed foil balloons (see photos), including a balloon strip and 100 adhesive dots. Extra foil balloons not pictured in the main kit photo are also available. A PVC pipe arch will be provided on the day to secure the balloons to, so this is an assembly and attachment job rather than sourcing your own structure. Please bring your own balloon pump, small clear zip ties for securing the garland to the frame, and clear fishing line for finishing touches. The venue doesn't allow any tape, pins, or adhesive on their walls, so everything needs to attach to the PVC frame rather than the walls themselves. Hi all! I am looking for a party helper or couple of helpers who could assist with food at a 1st birthday party - at a house. We need someone who is good on the BBQ - cooking bacon & egg rolls & sausage sandwiches. We will also require finger food that's already prepared to be heated in the oven and put on the table. You would need to monitor the levels of food on the table and top up when required. No cleaning or other tasks needed, just the heating and BBQ cooking so we can be present for the party rather than cooking ourselves.
