Event Setup & Pack Down Assistant – Casual Work We’re looking for someone reliable and hands-on to help our event styling team with bump ins and bump outs for weddings and events around Melbourne. The role includes: * Loading and unloading our truck/van * Carrying tables, florals, props and event equipment * Helping set up and pack down event styling * Following direction from our styling team * General hands-on assistance during setups Experience in events, removals, warehousing or similar is preferred, but not essential if you’re hardworking and willing to learn. You must be physically capable of lifting event equipment, reliable and comfortable with flexible hours. Most work is around weekends, with some late-night bump outs. Looking for someone reliable and organised to help with some light setup for our wedding at Aunty Kim’s in Collingwood. Approx. 50 guests. Start time 3:30pm and approximately 1–2 hours of help required. We’ll have most things organised and ready to go — we’re mainly looking for an extra pair of hands on the day so our family and wedding party don’t need to worry about setup. I’m looking for someone with event setup or styling experience to help set up a first birthday party. Everything will already be made and ready to go (balloons, signage, decorations, props) so I don’t need anything created or assembled. I just need someone to put everything together on the day. The venue is only available for setup one hour before guests arrive, so the entire setup will need to be completed within that hour. The job will include: - Hanging the pre-made balloon garland onto the frame - Positioning the backdrop panels - Placing the cake plinth, zebra prop and other supplied decor - Hanging the ribbons/bunting - Styling everything to match the reference photo as closely as possible If you’ve worked on parties, weddings or other events before, I’d love to hear from you.
