We're preparing our home for sale and are looking for an experienced painter to tidy up the painted woodwork only. This is NOT a wall repaint. There are no wall touch-ups required. The work mainly consists of: Touching up chipped skirting boards - Filling and sanding minor chips where needed - Touching up door frames - Touching up internal doors - General cosmetic repairs to painted timber throughout the home We'll supply the matching paint. This is to re seat two shower wall taps and replace the tap washers in them in Carlton St, McKinnon. Now the Hot and cold shower taps are not shutting off fully, so water is continually dribbling through the shower head. Both wall taps probably need a re-seat polish and new tap washers to be fitted. Remove the tap handle and cover. There is a gap existing between the wall tiles and the tap, so no hacking is required, just remove a small silicone seal on the tiles. From my past experience to remove the tap from the wall requires a 15/16 inch pr 24mm SQUARE ended tap spanner, to undo the tap spindle, (not hex). The wall tiles have a gap already to allow the tap wrench in and onto the tap. Yes it's from the 70's. This is the easiest and only way to undo the tap. Do you have such a 24mm SQUARE ended tap spanner? The taps will need a re-seating polish to remove any built up on the tap seats. Do you have a Re-Seating Tool? The tap washers will likely need to be replaced. Again from past experience the washers need to be the older type which have a slightly larger ( +1 mm diameter) than the new washers you buy today at Bunnings. Then the holes in the wall tiles around the tap spindles need a reseal with some silicone. Then replace the covers and taps.

Looking for an experienced carpenter, cabinet maker or kitchen installer to help join and install two timber kitchen benchtops. The benchtops have already been dry-fitted and trimmed to size. Cabinets are fully installed and level. The job involves: Applying glue/adhesive to the join Tightening the existing connector bolts underneath the benchtops Ensuring the join is flush and level Securing the benchtops to the cabinets The measuring and cutting work has already been completed, so this is primarily the final installation.

Looking for a plumber or experienced handyman to assist with a few minor plumbing issues at my unit in Elsternwick: 1. Kitchen mixer tap is very stiff to turn on and off * Particularly bad after not being used for a while. * I have tried WD-40 with no improvement. * Looking for repair if possible, otherwise advice on replacement. 2. Bathroom basin click-clack plug is jammed shut * Push-button style plug. * Completely stuck and won’t pop up or unscrew. 3. Second basin plug not operating correctly * Also a push-button/click-clack style plug that needs inspection and repair or replacement. Ideally looking for someone who can diagnose and fix all three issues in one visit. Happy to pay for replacement parts if required, but would prefer repairs where possible.

Need hot and cold stop taps connected to existing pipes behind a plasterboard wall so we can connect dishwasher to them inside a cupboard. Just need the pipes and connectors, will install the taps ourselves. Easy access behind plasterboard wall, refer to photo

Paint touch ups required around staircase. Needing white paint touch ups on walls around staircase where the staircase stringers meet the wall (approximate 30mm above the top of the stringer). Most areas are good, it just needs a lick in areas. There's 2 X staircases on top of each other (4 flights) There is also a small patch on the wall near the staircase (250mmx250mm) that also needs painting. Paint will be supplied. Applicant will need ladder/brush/roller etc. I would estimate this job to take a couple of areas. Applicant to be very mindful of splatters.

I would like these two yukkas and stumps removed from this garden bed. They’re getting a bit close to the brickwork and pavement so it’s time for them to go!
