I'm after a new timber deck to my alfresco area at rear of house, height to match interior floor level. Overall size is 6.4m long x 3m wide, of which 4.6m will be on joists directly on the slab, and extending 1.8m over the edge of slab requiring a couple of posts and a beam to support framing.Happy to take advice on framing required. Replace 4 pool gate hinges / install 2 safety caps

As part of pool barrier inspection I have to have safety caps on the bottom hinge of my pool gate hinges. The gates still need to self close from basically anywhere without force. I couldn’t find a cap for these hinges so bought some replacement ones recommended to me that are compliant. I’ve bought the hinges / caps but I don’t quite have the tools / skill to remove the existing hinges and replace with these ones. You need to be able to remove some stubborn bolts/screws and fit the new hinges. It may need some new holes and to patch up existing holes / put old screw back in. Then adjust hinge tension so gate self closes and put on the bottom hinge cap.
