It seems there is no active phone line or visible NBN connection point inside or outside the house. There’s only an old 610 phone socket inside, and iiNet told me the property is supposed to be on the NBN network. My Airbnb guests say the wifi is “not working”. I can’t be more specific , sorry. They have turned the modem off, then on again. I’ve checked and there are no NBN outages, nor service provider outages. I’d like to add cables one direct to the NBN outlet (to eliminate wifi problems) and one to the aerial (so free to air broadcast TV is available)

I recently got a Mate NBN subscription and received my Wi-Fi router. NBN technicians installed the black Arris box in my garage, but I’d prefer to have the router set up in the living room. Need someone to: • Check if the living room coax outlet works • Connect everything correctly • Make sure the internet is online and Wi-Fi works Haven’t bought any extra cables or adapters yet — please bring what’s needed. I have a long NBN cable running along my hall that I would like hidden as much as possible. Perhaps nailed to the wall and painted or put under the floor boards.

The property has an NBN (FTTC) connection but the point is the old style phone jack (cream coloured plug - photo attached), that requires an adapter for use. Ideally we would like to replace the adaptor to a newer style point. At the same time if it could be relocated in the lounge as it's currently in a bedroom which is inefficient.

When the last tenant moved out, they broke the HFC plug, it spins freely in the wall point, just need someone to install a new wall point, and re-terminate it correctly.

We moved house recently and had no wifi this week. We have a new provider and new nbn box and nothing is connecting we need help
