I live in a townhouse (double story). I'm after an experienced tradesperson who can relocate an NBN connection from the front of the house to the middle of my home in the lower level to improve my connectivity throughout my home, and also setup an NVR system for two outdoor cameras in the front, two outdoor cameras in the back, and one doorbell camera to access from anywhere.

New build with incomplete home hub. 10 ethernet cables unmarked, with 2 connected to a 6 port switch (may be cctv related). Big grey box is alarm system. NBN ready with HFC architecture installed outside home which i assume is the stray coaxial cable in photo (tucked inside). Require advice and cleaning this up for organisation and safety, installing electrical outlets if required to prepare for NBN, but at the same time ensuring ethernet cables are connected and working for the rooms, router to be bought via advice including mesh hub.

I need a handyman or tradesperson to drill a hole through an external brick garage wall to allow NBN conduit for Fibre to the Premises installation. Hi there 👋 I had an NBN fibre upgrade appointment, but the technician couldn’t complete the installation because I wanted the indoor NBN connection box/modem installed in my closet (where my current setup is). He said he couldn’t use the existing cable path as it runs inside the brick facade, and therefore couldn’t get a new fibre through to that point. He also didn’t install the outdoor unit for the same reason. He advised me to get a licensed electrician/data cabler to: Create a new cable path or conduit from outside (where NBN will mount the outdoor unit) to the closet where I want the modem. Ensure the cable route is ready for NBN to return and complete the fibre connection. Job details: Single-storey brick home 🏡 Need neat, NBN-compliant cabling or conduit installed Easy access to both outdoor wall and closet Just need the cable path ready — NBN will handle the fibre install once this part is done Timing: Flexible — weekday or weekend is fine. The replace battery light had turned on and the box was beeping every 15 minutes. So when I opened the box to replace the battery , The battery within the nbn box has melted and needs replacement. The black colour wire is melted onto the old battery. So I cannot remove it to just replace the battery. Need help with this as I don’t know what to do

The nbn cable sunk into the outlet. I've removed the cable from the outlet but I can't reattach, so it requires someone to get into the wall outlet to reattach.

Need to change HFC NBN port location. Currently it's in the living room and i'd like to change it to my bedroom. Theres an old ADSL port thats currently in the bedroom which might help with drilling.

NBN technicians advised that a conduit is required for the NBN box to be installed in a specific room. It needs to be run through the roof or along the wall. Possible 10m

We’re upgrading our internet connection from fibre-to-the-node to fibre-to-the-premises. A technician attended to complete the installation but was unable to finish the job, as he couldn’t run the cable from the Telstra box at the front of the house through the roof cavity and down to the internal internet port. He mentioned that he’s not permitted to enter the roof cavity, but an electrician would be able to complete this part. He left the NBN cable here and advised me to contact an electrician. The main challenge is that the roof pitch is quite low, so roof tiles will need to be removed for access. There are also solar panels on the roof and ducted air conditioning in the roof cavity. I’ve attached images of the external box, the internal port location, and an aerial view of the house showing where the cable needs to be run through the roof. Im flexible with cost.

Move NBN from front of the house to the study cupboard. Recent renovations and electrician advised there was plenty of cable for this if we wanted to do it in future. Single story home. Tiled roof.

Unfortunately our puppy ate our NBN cable 😅 would love someone to come fix/replace it. If you offer to also install puppy proofing cover on the new cable, would love that too!

NBN cable is in the roof of my yoga studio and nerds to be relocated so the ntd and modem can be plugged in near a power point. It is quite long so allows some leeway. Hopefully install a cable wall plate so it’s tidy?

My Airbnb guests say the wifi is “not working”. I can’t be more specific , sorry. They have turned the modem off, then on again. I’ve checked and there are no NBN outages, nor service provider outages. I’d like to add cables one direct to the NBN outlet (to eliminate wifi problems) and one to the aerial (so free to air broadcast TV is available)

I recently got a Mate NBN subscription and received my Wi-Fi router. NBN technicians installed the black Arris box in my garage, but I’d prefer to have the router set up in the living room. Need someone to: • Check if the living room coax outlet works • Connect everything correctly • Make sure the internet is online and Wi-Fi works Haven’t bought any extra cables or adapters yet — please bring what’s needed. Located in Collaroy Plateau. Should be a quick job for someone familiar with NBN setups.
