I have a brand new Honda EU22i camping generator that has been stored for 12 months with a small amount of fuel in it. It now won’t start (even though it has only ever been started once to see that it worked!) I am guessing it needs a quick service.

My small Yamaha generator was working fine when last used it 1 year ago, but has sat unused since then. It won't start up now; I have changed fuel, spark plug and sprayed carburettor cleaner and Start Ya Barstard and on 2 attemps, it almost wanted to start but alas didn't. I feel it's something simple for those in the know, but i am now stumped. Will pay if you can get it going, but won't pay if you can't (sorry). It's a Yamaha EF1000iS Inverter Generator and has never given me any problems till now

Hi, the overload alarm on my Honda EU65is generator is turning on with and without appliances connected. I use it for about 4 hours a day and its been running well. Regularly serviced, two weeks ago changed air filter, spark plug and oil and also replaced the battery. Since yesterday it starts very sluggish and turns itself off after 10 seconds or so. Looking for someone with mechanical and/or electrical experience to come and have a look. Thanks!
