Hi, I run a small online antiques and vintage lighting shop and regularly source vintage wall lights and lamps. I currently have a handful of vintage wall sconces that need rewiring to Australian standards (approximately 7 pieces to start). Most are simple single-bulb wall lights with existing wiring that just needs replacing. Ideally I’m looking to find an electrician who is comfortable working with vintage lighting and who may be interested in an ongoing working relationship, as I will likely have more pieces needing rewiring each month. Tasks would typically include: • replacing old wiring • ensuring proper earthing • fitting appropriate cable and connectors • basic safety check • converting plug-in wall lamps to hardwired sconces with mounting plate. • rewiring table lamps to Australian compliance, with Aus plugs and new flex. Happy to drop lights off locally to avoid a call out fee each time and likely each batch will be 5-10 lights. If you could contact me with the going rate per sconce etc. Thanks Penny

Reinstall 2 down lights. Existing wiring and easy access due to hole in ceiling from skylight install. Need it done before Sat when ceiling is being patched up.

We have a new food production machine (1.08kW, 220V, single-phase) that needs a standard 10A plug installed by licenced electrician so it can be plugged into a wall outlet.
