we’re wanting to install a wall-mounted TV on a wall that currently doesn’t have any power or TV antenna points. We’d like the power and antenna connections installed behind the TV so the cables can be concealed within the wall as much as possible. Part 1 — Repair existing switchboard faults * Replace 2 faulty breakers/protection devices in the existing switchboard. * Replace the existing faulty RCD/safety switch for the outdoor 3-phase outlet. The test button does not operate and power continues to pass through. * Assess the existing circuits and provide RCD protection where required. The existing switchboard currently has no RCD protection. Part 2 — New air compressor circuit and switchboard Existing and proposed loads: * Air compressor: 17A three-phase (to be connected). * Existing double mitre saw: 13.5kW, approximately 22A three-phase, currently connected to the existing 20A socket circuit. * The saw and compressor may operate simultaneously because the saw’s pneumatic clamps are supplied by the compressor. * Please assess the existing 20A circuit, the proposed compressor circuit, and the overall available supply/load capacity to ensure the installation is suitable and compliant. New installation: * The existing switchboard is full (12 poles), so a new switchboard is likely required. * Install a new 24-pole surface-mounted switchboard, including a 4-pole 63A DIN-rail main switch. * Run a sub-main from the existing switchboard to the new switchboard. * Run approximately 10 metres of 3-phase cable in conduit to the air compressor. * Install a new 32A 3-phase circuit protected by a 32A 4-pole RCBO. * Install a 32A 3-phase isolator adjacent to the air compressor. * Please confirm the appropriate cable size based on the installation method, load, voltage drop and applicable requirements. Both parts: * Test and commission all completed electrical work. * Provide the required electrical certificate/certificate of compliance. * Please advise if you identify any other issues with the existing installation that need to be rectified for the above work to be safe and compliant.

I have allowed 3 hours to get all these items changed over. Replace customers supplied, 8 light switches, 5 ceiling light fittings, Fix 1 flickering 2-way switch. This price is for labor/sundry items only, you can supply all the switches/fittings you need, include a new 2 way switch in both positions to try replacing it 1st see if that fixes the flicker, otherwise could be possible cable fault.

Rain got into something this morning. Tripping safety switch off. Found one fuse that if I run it on, it immediately trips the safety switch. That fuse powers half the house sockets. Lights and some of sockets and fridge etc still work without it. We have unplugged anything we could unplug from broken sockets, but that fuse still trips the safety switch. Need to find what it is where did the water get into, and fix, prevent it from tripping the switch. Need done asap, this Sunday or Monday, we are in Shailer Park.
