Replace one bedroom downlight that is not working. Install a Dyson wall charging dock onto a plasterboard wall next to a power point. I have the Dyson dock and charger, but no wall fixings. While here, I'd also like you to check whether my 4 kitchen downlights can be converted to dimming and provide a separate quote. The 4 adjacent living-room downlights have previously been converted to dimming. Please include any standard small parts/fixings required in your offer and let me know if the power point or downlight replacement parts would be additional. Licensed electrician required.

The RCD labelled “Protected Power” (C20, 30mA) trips the instant I switch it on, so all power points are dead. Lighting circuit is fine. Cause is known: insecticide spray went into one power point and the tripping started immediately after. The RCD has been off since and I haven’t touched the outlet. What I need: the affected outlet inspected and replaced, and the circuit tested.
