What we need Supply and install hardwired downlights in the bedroom to serve as the main lighting for the room. Hardwired only, no plug in or battery fittings. The room currently has a ceiling fan with an integrated LED light. That light has failed and we are not repairing it. The fan itself runs normally and is to stay in place and keep working on its remote. Scope of work Assess the room and advise how many downlights are needed for even coverage, and where they should sit around the existing fan. Supply and install hardwired LED downlights, warm white, mains wired into the existing circuit. Wire them to operate from the existing wall switch in the room. Isolate or disconnect the failed light on the ceiling fan, your recommendation on which is cleaner. Leave the ceiling fan in place and confirm it still runs correctly on the remote before you finish. Make good all ceiling penetrations and clean up before leaving. Photos of the room before and after, and a certificate of electrical safety on completion. Before you start Send us your price and the number of downlights you propose, and wait for our written confirmation before purchasing or installing anything.

Need to switch the ugly oyster light in our hall with a hanging pendant thing from IKEA. The hall is high maybe 4m but we have ladder if you don't.

Wire and install sockets/downlight points for 4 Philips Hue downlights 3. Remove existing ceiling fan 4. Install a LIFX SuperColour Ceiling Light Model: 38cm White Trim I already have the lights. Need someone who can supply any required electrical fittings, cable, sockets, connectors, etc, unless you prefer I buy them first. Because this is a kids bedroom, I need the room properly protected before work starts — bedding, flooring, etc — and fully cleaned up afterwards, including dust and debris from cutting the ceiling holes.
