Small timber decking area has become unstable underfoot on one half (closest to gate - in picture). Heavy rain from last year may have caused this. Some boards "dip" when walking on, some "flip up". Mostly, that half of the deck feels generally unstable. There are also some boards that need to be screwed down (not nailed) as they tend to bend up when only nailed. Hi, Just added a few smallish jobs 1. Use a belt sander to prep the timber screening surrounding my deck on 3 sides. Use kwila timber deck varnish (intergrain ultradeck natural) to seal after prep work (min two Coates). I have about 1l remaining in a can. The timber on the screening is form the old timber deck, timber is in good condition just needs a sand to bring back to life. 2. Sand deck gate and apply varnish (same as above). Pic added 3.
