I'm looking for an experienced IT/network technician to improve my home internet setup in South Yarra. The property only has access to Telstra 5G Home Internet (NBN isn't available), but the connection is very slow and unreliable. I often have to hotspot from my phone just to get a stable connection. I'm looking for someone who can: Assess the current Telstra 5G Home Internet setup. Identify whether the modem is in the best location for signal strength. Set up and optimise a Wi-Fi range extender/mesh device to improve coverage throughout the house. Recommend any changes or equipment that could improve speed and reliability. Make sure the internet is working as well as possible before leaving. Experience with Telstra 5G Home Internet and home Wi-Fi optimisation is preferred. Please let me know about your experience with similar jobs and what is included in your service. If any additional equipment is required, I'm happy to purchase it based on your recommendation.

NBN attended my property to upgrade my FTTC to FTTP. They advised they couldn't do the fibre installation to my preferred location in a way that was suitable to me. They advised I need a private electrician to run an internal fibre pathway. The property is a three story townhouse, and would require running fibre from the front door, through an internal wall cavity, then most likely popping out through the roof (removing a metal sheet), and then running either internally or externally along the roof to reach a third-floor storage space. Third floor storage space is above the window in the second photo. I do not want external conduit run up the outside wall at the front door, so the pathway needs to be internal conduit in the wall cavity. Scribble on second picture is just me covering my house number for privacy. Third picture is the internal storage space.

Some time ago we moved MS365 subscription to go direct. Most emails were transferred over, but old emails didnt roll over. We need to have the whole set cleaned up. We have tried 'Microsoft experts' and they didnt even understand how the back-end Exchange, Intra worked. We have a GLOBAL login with all users set up and working. I've searched via Discovery and successfully downloaded the old emails/sites for a couple of users. However, there are some users that just won't work. This job is to fix the problem, not spend hours trying the 'typica troubleshooting'. If you are not an expert on the back-end and setting up Business environment emails and compliance (8 staff/MS365 Business Standard Licenses), then please do not apply. I have Amaysim NBN 25Mbps plugged into a Telstra 5G router It doesn’t extend far enough outside or across the myriad devices I have that require rock solid wifi I need someone to come and configure my network for optimum performance and bring a couple of wifi extenders for outside I have some unused extenders that can be used Not sure about the advantages of 2.4 vs 5G beyond download speed so happy to look at setting up both or other I have half a dozen SONOS wireless MOVE speakers that need to be included Current setup works ok but not reliably for music etc. SmartTV performs reliably.
