So I bought a new router and it is called the tp-link Archer ax20 with wifi 6 compatibility and I'm upgrading from TP-Link Archer VR1. The old modem connects to the internet fine but new one does not and has a solid orange light for the internet. Hi I m trying to set up an automated cat litter tray that is connected to an app and it’s saying I need to reconfigure my TP link router to a 2.4 when I’m currently using a 5. I want to keep it at 5 but apparently I can still set the app up to 2.4 on wireless and I’m not tech savvy and need some help doing this. I have a Nighthawk Netgear modem & NBN fibre internet. Worked excellent yesterday. Modem was reset due to inability to connect new printer to 5g network & now router won’t connect to internet. Very unhappy 12 year old!!! Need assistance with connecting & set up of router as have had no luck so far. ASAP would be preferable. On phone or in person whichever works best.

I have a home network that consists of - a NetComm NBN modem/router that WAS configured as a bridge - a TPLink C3150 AC3150 router connected to the NetComm that provided wifi for the main house - an Asus RT-AC87U AC2400 router configured as an Access Point in another part of the house connected to the TPLink via Cat6 Ethernet. Was having trouble with NBN dropping out and I stupidly pressed the reset button on the back of the NetComm. Configuration is now gone and all I have is the dinky AC300 wifi from the NetComm. System needs to be reconfigured. I did it myself the first time but took ages because I didn’t really know what I was doing. Need someone who knows what they are doing.
