I'm looking for an experienced IT technician to troubleshoot and resolve ongoing issues with my home network and Windows PCs. Current Network Setup: ISP: iiNet NBN FTTP (850/90 Mbps, PPPoE). Router: Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Max (UCG-Max). Switches: 2 × Ubiquiti Flex Mini 2.5G. Wi-Fi: Eero Pro 7 (Bridge Mode). CAT6 Ethernet cabling throughout the house. Two Windows PCs connected via Ethernet, including one with a Realtek 2.5Gb adapter. UCG-Max manages DHCP and IP reservations. Main Issues: Windows frequently reports duplicate IP addresses, even when UniFi shows only one device using the affected IP. PCs sometimes receive incorrect IP addresses despite DHCP reservations. Internet connectivity is not always available immediately after starting or waking the devices. Devices occasionally have a valid IP address but no internet access. Similar problems existed with my previous TP-Link equipment, which was replaced with UniFi hardware. What I Need: A comprehensive network assessment to identify and permanently resolve these issues, including: DHCP, IP conflicts and network configuration. Router, switches, Eero Bridge Mode and Ethernet cabling. Windows network settings and Realtek drivers. PPPoE, DNS and MTU configuration. Network optimisation for stable, low-latency gaming (iRacing), Discord and streaming. My goal is to have a reliable network where all devices receive their correct IP addresses and connect to the internet immediately, without manual intervention. I would prefer an on-site visit to identify the root cause and implement a permanent solution. Could you please confirm your availability in Perth, estimated cost?

We have Telstra velocity in house and have a shed about 30m away. We have brought an orbit as a bridging unit to help get internet in there to run 2 TVs and have general internet there, but don’t really understand what we are doing wrong. Sometimes we get internet. Sometimes we don’t. Help please

I have a recently completed new build that needs several data points run throughout the house, up for grabs. Airtaskers must be a registered cabler with current, valid registration and must be able to supply an ACMA TCA1 form upon completion of the works. Attached is a numbered drawing of the house with requirements listed below for each. Unless otherwise stated, cabling runs must use CAT6A cabling and sockets and will run through existing blank 25mm conduit that was pre-installed with the house during the build and must use black Clipsal Iconic mechs and face plates to suit the rest of the house. Fig 1 - 1x RJ45 terminated cable drop for future intercom/doorbell with at least 10cm of slack. Fig 2 - 2x RJ45 sockets Fig 3 - 1x RJ45 socket Fig 4 - 1x RJ45 socket Fig 5 - 1x RJ45 cable drop for future tablet with at least 10cm of slack. Fig 6 - 1x RJ45 terminated cable drop to the bottom brush plate with at least 1 meter of slack. Fig 7 - 1x RJ45 terminated cable drop from ceiling for Wi-Fi AP with at least 10cm of slack. Fig 8 - 1x RJ45 terminated cable drop from ceiling for Wi-Fi AP with at least 10cm of slack. Fig 9 - There are 3x 25mm conduits in this area with 1x blank faceplate, 2x Single RJ45 sockets for NBN. Ideally, I'd like the 2x single RJ45 sockets moved onto 1x Clipsal Iconic white faceplate and the 2x 25mm conduits that remain have Clipsal Iconic white brush plates installed, with the cable runs from Fig 1 through to 8 coming through with terminated RJ45 ends and at least 1m slack to connect into a switch. I've attached a photo of the area in Fig 9 to assist with my explanation. Materials must be supplied for the job. If uncertain about the requirements or specific BOM required for the job, please don't hesitate to ask. Additionally, if the job were to occur over the weekend, I'm willing be your T/A for the job if that helps with the price consideration, provided it doesn't prevent a TCA1 from being issued for the works.

Just needing this installed, do not have the materials needed for task. Wooden walls, easy access to roof can provide pictures upon tasking
