Looking for a Network Engineer / Home Networking Help need someone with home networking experience to help troubleshoot and set up my system properly. Equipment: Modem, Router, Eeros, Home Assistant Current setup: 2 Eeros connected and working, but one is producing a separate network that needs to be reset. Home Assistant was working until switched Eero from Bridge Mode to Automatic. Tasks: Wiring, troubleshooting, ensuring everything works together smoothly. My Xbox often disconnects from my wired modem connection. The NAT type will often switch to moderate, choose a random alternative port and lose connection. I don’t understand the issue, but when I disconnect and reconnect the UPNP on my modem, it seems to fix things. For a time. I would like someone to help me fix the issue for good. I suspect it has something to do with setting up a static IP address and Xbox specific ports in my modem settings.l, at least based on my naive onlin searches. I have tried to follow the steps, but it seems to make things worse. If you can fix my Xbox from disconnecting ever again, I will be very greatful. - Due date: Flexible

I recently moved into a new apartment that has an LBNCo gateway pre-installed. I have plugged my existing Netgear Nighthawk router into the WAN port. The internet is working fine - all my devices are connected, but I am unfortunately encountering issues with my Xbox games console, which is showing a ‘double NAT’ error. I’m by no means an expert on this sort of thing, but my research has suggested that I need to disable the router function on the LBNCo gateway, or set it into ‘bridge mode’. I have contacted my ISP, but they weren’t able to offer any help. I’m hoping someone here might? Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks, Adam - Due date: Flexible

UPDATE: It seems the issue may be an NBN issue and not a setup issue. I’m going to get NBN ato run diagnostics etc and see if that is the problem. If that is fine and we still have issue I will continue with the task. Thanks to all who replied so far. I need an expert to check/reconfigure our home wifi network setup, I’m running a Nighthawk wifi Router with 2 x mesh extenders. I removed old Telstra router and reconnected direct connection from NBN box to router. Wi-Fi signal is now worse than before, connection keeps dropping and download speeds now vary from 3mbs to 875mbs on both speed test and netgear app… probably need an expert to check configuration, cables and NBN telstra speeds. We use as multi device work from home office so we need high performance.
