A family member unplugged all the Ethernet cables from our old Wi-Fi modem and Fetch TV while trying to set up the new modem, but didn’t remember where each cable was originally connected. The new Wi-Fi modem is working fine, but we’re now wondering whether any of those Ethernet cables were connected to something important and if unplugging them might affect anything.

Help to fix locked computer

Moving from wirless internet to NBN, TPG has sent the modum. Need someone to set this up and connect my Foxtel to the internet.

So I need help setting up my Telstra wifi modem. I’ve tried calling online to the Telstra people, but it’s really hard to understand their instructions over the phone, and they said that to get a technician to come out and do it would cost me $250, so yeah I’m not paying that. Anyone who is good at setting up home Wi-Fi could you please come and help me please? I would really appreciate it.

Require quote on network cable install. Layout image attach Blue X is where the NBN port is located, I require an RJ45 Data outlet installed with 2 ports. The 2 ports will need to run Cat6 cables to the second level and terminate to each bedroom marked with a Red X with R45 Data outlets in each. Please see main image showing the front of the house and satellite for reference, note solar panels on southern side of roof. If roof tiles needs to be removed to run cabling, I do not want any drilling on the ceiling but if so, this needs to be patched and color matched as part of the install.

Need to move two ethernet ports, from gyprock wall to room next door, on that gyprock wall. Same location, need blank plate. Second one is the same except just need to need to keep existing plate and extend signal to second plate. Approx 20cms.
