Find a reliable computer and IT professional in Bondi

Hi, I’m looking for a quote for data recovery only from an M2 MacBook Air. It had liquid damage and the screen, keyboard and trackpad no longer work, although it still makes a startup sound. I don’t need the Mac repaired — I only want to recover my documents, especially my pastry recipes/work files, and transfer them to an external drive. What would be the cheapest option for this? I have a home office setup that needs the cables properly tidied and managed. I currently have a 6-plug Jackson powerboard positioned at the back of the desk near the window, with: * 2 × kettle leads for studio monitors — one on each side of the desk * 1 × kettle lead for my computer monitor * 1 × power cable for a PS5 * 1 × kettle lead for a DJ controller * Various HDMI/audio/USB cables At the moment the cables are a bit messy and exposed, and I’d like to get them properly routed, secured and organised so there are minimal loose cables visible on the desk/floor. There’s also a cat in the home, so an important part of the job is making the cables secure and difficult for the cat to access/chew. I’m looking for someone experienced with home office/desk cable management who can assess the setup and recommend the best solution rather than me having a specific cable tray/product in mind. Ideally: * Hide/secure the powerboard where practical * Route cables neatly along the back/underside of the desk * Keep the studio monitor cables neat without putting tension on them * Bundle and secure excess cable * Minimise visible cables * Make the setup safe and cat-proof * Supply/install any suitable cable clips, ties, trays, sleeves etc. if required Photos attached showing the current setup. I’d prefer someone who can look at the setup and work out the cleanest solution, rather than just installing a generic cable tray. Budget: $100–150, depending on what’s required.

Hey, I recently spilt some water on my MacBook Pro - i think its the 2023, 14.2 inch. Now the screen doesn't come on, but it seems it still works as I can plug into an extra screen and it still works.. Please can someone help to fix this?

We have the wifi modem and there's an NBN box but not sure where it is as we moved in recently. Wifi was working fine for about a week and the signal strength still shows as strong, but it isn't getting internet anymore. We have a TV but need someone to help with something to stand it up and just get it setup. We have a stand for it but need some legs for the TV or something similar

Moved into new house, want to make sure my WiFi is as strong as possible and boosted throughout the house. I don’t have any extra equipment. Just the Telstra WiFi box in the garage. Big house with concrete walls so signal isn’t travelling. Neighbours said they used geek2you to set them up. Posting here to see if anyone can help before calling them.

I have two Ethernet wall sockets in my home office that are not working. The house has a patch panel and central comms cupboard, but these runs appear to be un-terminated or mis-terminated. Need assistance with connecting wireless Brother printer to Apple Devices

I used a Handycam Sony SCR100 on a photoshoot, it was knocked & the screen went pink but it was still usable and the footage was extracted normally. Now they screen has gone entirely grey but when I close the screen I noticed it goes to full usual colour when it is positioned on an angle (see 2nd photo). I believe this is just a screen connection issue. I can still take videos & when I extract them they are still a normal colour. I need this repaired prior to Thrusday if possible .
