Install outdoor swing into timber beam I’m looking for an experienced carpenter or suitably qualified handyman to safely install a swing beneath our outdoor alfresco. The attachment must be fixed into the solid structural timber beam using purpose-made, load-rated swing hardware suitable for dynamic movement. The beam and proposed location must be inspected and confirmed as suitable before installation. The job includes: * Supplying or advising on the correct load-rated swing hook, bolts and locking connector * Installing the attachment securely into the structural timber beam * Through-bolting with appropriate washers and a locknut where possible * Confirming the completed installation and safe working load are suitable for the intended user * Ensuring adequate clearance from the house, posts, furniture and other obstacles Please only apply if you have experience installing swings or suspended equipment into structural timber. Looking for someone with experience and expertise in staining timber and painting to: 1. Stain a new 6m X 4m timber deck in our backyard made of treated pine (refer to image) to preserve the timber and keep it looking fresh, including supplying the stain (I'll pick something from Bunnings), prepare the surface and stain the timber with a brush and applicator. 2. Paint the white timber post and small section of the roof circled in red in the photo, including supply the paint (I'll choose something from Bunnings), sanding down the timber and 2x coats of paint.
