I have a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy who is currently 30kg and will grow up to 50kg. I also have an older 50kg dog who really should not be jumping in and out of the car as he's getting arthritic. Ramps on the retail market only work for dogs to get into ute trays and car boots, not for the side door of a Corolla hatch to allow a dog to get into the back seat or door frame. The opening of my car's back door is an awkward angle for most ramps and steps I've tried - they just don't work, the ramp can't sit straight, sturdy and secure against the back seat or the door frame. I need a ramp built that is portable so I can fold it down and slot it into the back seat area, and secure so my dogs feel safe to use it. The ramp needs to be able to bear a weight of 50kg or more and have a surface that my dogs' paws can grip onto when getting in and out of the car. Whoever is interested in this job will need to come and measure up, as I would not want to make a mistake and waste anyone's time. I don't have access to a workshop, shed or tools as I rent, but I am happy to go and buy materials for the ramp if you have the tools, and you can go home, make it and bring it back to me - whatever works. - Due date: Flexible
