Hi Taskers, I need a detailed right front-end diagnostic inspection on my 2017 Toyota Vitz Hybrid (NHP130, 1NZ-FXE, JDM import) in Sydney (Lidcombe/Auburn) before installing a new OEM right engine mount (just inspection, no installation yet). Issue summary: • Loud “TACK” (metal-on-metal clunk) when hitting sharp speed bumps or small right-front potholes • Squeak on mild/slow bumps • No noise on smooth straight roads • Right engine mount has been replaced 3 times (reputable aftermarket) and fails within days • Other mounts and CV axle checked by mechanics and reported OK • Car slowly started pulling slightly left after repeated pothole/speed bump impacts What I need: • Thorough inspection of front right suspension • Check subframe alignment and mounting bolts • Inspect engine mount bracket, alignment/level, and mounting points • Check control arm bushings, strut top, sway bar links, and hidden damage • Identify root cause before installing the new part Please confirm: • Experience with suspension/chassis diagnostics, especially Toyota hybrids/Prius C equivalents Location: Lidcombe/Auburn (can travel locally). I have been dealing with the rust with sanding paper and paint myself, but I would like someone to help me do a better job, with a sanding machine, then there will be one hole to fill, apply an anti rust product and paint over. The van is in Bondi Beach, but I am happy to come to your garage, buy any products I need to buy, and work on the van with you.
