Toyota Kluger 2009 with factory alarm. The alarm randomly goes off a few minutes after locking the car. It does not happen every time. I tested it while sitting inside the car: Doors closed, armed the alarm with the remote while inside, and after about 2–3 minutes the alarm started beeping. After unlocking and locking again, sometimes it stays quiet. Because of this, I currently can’t reliably lock the car overnight. The issue looks like an intermittent switch or sensor: Most likely a faulty door lock microswitch (door latch), but bonnet (hood) or boot switch could also be involved.

A friend borrowed my car …asked to top up engine oil as I was overseas.She forgot to put engine oil tank lid back & drove .Oil went all over the place .I cleaned it up but it has gone into sensors.May be MAF sensor .i got diagnostic with me . The P0171 code is a common OBD-II diagnostic trouble code that translates to "System Too Lean (Bank 1)." I have the original head unit on my 2008 Kluger and I want to get a new one installed that's more modern that I can connect my phone by Bluetooth. It already has a reverse camera and built in speaker and mic for phone calls.
