Handyman required to assist my husband in removing a steel security grill from a sliding door on our apartment balcony. The security grill is old and a drill will be required to remove the rusted deadbolts (see photos) that are securing the grill to the tiled floor and ceiling. We have an internal door that no longer closes properly — likely due to slight movement in the house and/or a latch issue. From what I can tell: - The door seems slightly misaligned in the frame (may need planing/sanding or hinge adjustment) - The latch/strike plate may not be lining up properly - The handle itself might also need attention (happy to replace internal mechanism if required, but would like to keep the existing handles) Looking for someone who can: - Adjust hinges and/or sand the door if needed - Realign latch/strike plate - Replace internal latch mechanism if faulty (I can cover cost of parts if needed) NOTE: This functional fix only - it doesn’t need to be a perfect cosmetic finish. Our wardrobe door is jammed, when we closed the door our drawer came out with lots of clothes which jammed the door and now we can't open it.
