Mount 85” TV • Mount an 85-inch TV onto a gyprock wall • I already have a Sanus Advanced Full-Motion 4D VLF928-B2 wall mount, rated for TVs up to 90” • Wall has already been checked with a stud finder and timber studs are present • Mount needs to be securely fixed into the studs due to the size of the TV and full-motion bracket • Looking for someone experienced mounting large 85”+ TVs and full-motion mounts • TV and bracket are already supplied 2. Shower • Remove the existing vertical shower rail/pole • Neatly seal/make good the existing fixing holes • Replace the existing shower tap/mixer with a new one I have already purchased • Please advise if the mixer portion requires a licensed plumber 3. Reposition Laundry Bifold Doors My new dryer protrudes slightly further forward than the previous setup, so the existing bifold laundry doors currently cannot close. I would like someone to: • Remove the existing bifold doors/frame as required • Reposition them a few centimetres further forward • Reinstall and adjust the doors so they open, fold and close correctly • Make the finished installation look neat and as original as possible Happy for you to assess the best way to achieve this once onsite. Photos show damaged gyprock in an interior bulkhead ceiling section in a loungeroom The bulkhead is above a bay window in a project home built in the 1990’s. The gyprock is completely destroyed so cannot be sanded and painted. You can push a finger thru it with ease. Task is to completely remove and replace the horizontal surface of the bulkhead plaster structure only. There is no requirement to fix the water leak nor to do any painting. Gyprock is attached to a timber frame built especially for the bulkhead. I suspect the metal strip that forms the edge will also need to be replaced. The facia part of the bulkhead appears undamaged. Curtain track has been removed. Hole has been cut to determine source of the water leak. Task 1. Remove existing damaged gyprock from bay window bulkhead. 2. Fabricate replacement plasterboard bulkhead and affix to existing timber framework. 3. Replace rusted metal edge strip that forms the corner. 4. Sand and smooth plaster surfaces to a paintable finish. 5. Remove and discard all waste materials. Materials and Tools You will be required to supply all necessary materials and have the tools required to complete the task. The gyprock is standard 10mm interior Plasterboard RE. Would probably do best to use an Aquacheck board or similar to prevent future damage. Bulkhead dimensions are: Width widest 2.6m Width shortest 1.8m Depth 0.4m Total area 1sqm Location House is located in Little Bay in Sydney which is near La Perouse. There is ample parking directly in front of the house with driveway parking and access provided as needed. The job is located on the ground floor of a two storey home. Timing Am flexible with timing so start date can be agreed to. Power and water are within easy reach. I work from home full time so weekday and/or weekend access can be arranged.
