I have endured a significant amount of domestic violence & my ex husband has shown up when I wasn’t home and disfigured the front door & broken the handle to get inside my house! I am now stuck at home and can’t leave because the door is not in a good condition & won’t lock and if I was to leave it means the house is not secured & worse - he can have access. Unfortunately I am a single parent and had to leave my job to relocate and establish a fresh start away from him, therefore, I am a financially challenging situation and don’t have the money right now to pay to have it fixed immediately. I initially thought that this job could be completed from inside, but I have not been able to remove both parts of the (sliding) window components. I have flyscreen that needs to be cut and fitted to iron security door. Some screws for the frame that holds the screen in place onto the door have been stripped and I cannot remove them.
