Some sash windows in our home are stuck and we are unsure how to get them unstuck All in beautiful condition (NOT looking to repair or replace). Just need to get them open asap. $100 to unstick the sash windows (not a call-out fee). Price for repairs beyond that can be discussed if needed.

Hi. I have roughly 6 double hung windows that either struggle to open or don’t stay up. The springs may need to be replaced.

Two sash windows (only 10 years old) have rotted at the bottom. A handy person began repair job however was unable to complete - could you assist?

I have a timber sash window that has sustained a section of rot to the staff bead and the junction of the stile and the meeting rail, on the upper sash. This has caused the meeting rail to slip downwards and expose the bottom edge of the glazing. Additionally, both sashes have perished glazing putty and that will require replacing. This job is not urgent and I’m flexible with timing. This sash is open to the elements so may not be able to be worked on during Melbourne’s wild weather. Please note : we have a sugar the house who is friendly.

Vertical Sliding Windows

Can open easily but cannot fully close (95% closed) 1930's sash window (with cord system).

1st Bedroom: Rotten broken window sash on bedroom window needs replacing and painting after. i think ideally both bottom and vertical sash needs replacment Bedroom 2 , smal crack in bottom window sash , needs filler. Kitchen: -repair cracked grout behind stove top , we want white mold free silicon used for this. Bathroom: -supply and replace corroded bath tap ,bunnings have set for around 36$ weeks are happy with this set. Entry: Front door and fly screen extremely stiff, front door needs a little sanding , so it opens easily.

The rope pulley on my double hung sash window has broken so I cannot keep my window open. Can you fix it?

I have a sash window that with the lock on, still rattles in the frame. The window also lets in noise from outside that I am looking to reduce. If anyone with sash window experience can assist to investigate if this means the window needs repairing or if not if it potentially just needs some draft excluders or similar installed and can assist please message.

The cord to one of the weights in our sash window (Victorian terrace house) has broken through normal use. We need the replacement of this cord with a new durable white cord.

The windows need repair to one sah movement and others require wood replacement and painting.

Bedroom window needs a lock installed, kitchen double doors need a door guard. Utensil drawer needs new screws to strengthen weight. Items in photo supplied. Kitchen door will need sanding to create a flat surface.
