I think the top loader washing machine drain pump has been clogged and needs to cleaned. The drain pump may have to be replaced only if it does not work after cleaning. LG Top Loader WTG6520.

We are getting a message in our lg front load washing machine to clean the filter as the water from the washing machine is not draining out.
