Description I need an experienced flooring contractor, handyman or builder to investigate and remove materials affected by long-term cat urine contamination in my home in Melbourne. Problem: * Strong cat urine odour that has persisted for several weeks or longer. * Laminate flooring over a concrete slab, with the affected area spanning approximately 2–3 metres near a corner. * Visible damage to the bottom 30 cm of the plasterboard wall and skirting boards. * The full extent of the contamination is unknown until the affected materials are removed. Work required: 1. Carefully remove the affected skirting boards and lift the necessary laminate flooring to expose the area underneath. 2. Inspect the underlay, concrete slab and bottom edge of the plasterboard for urine contamination and damage. 3. Take photos of the exposed area and advise which materials need cleaning, treatment or replacement. 4. Remove and dispose of contaminated materials if agreed. 5. Provide a quote for any additional repairs, including plasterboard, skirting and flooring replacement. Initially, I am looking to expose and assess the affected area before committing to the full repair. Please quote for the initial investigation and removal separately from any reinstatement work. Cut Plasterboard Sheets Into Ceiling Tiles We are renovating a commercial premises and need someone to cut plasterboard sheets into new ceiling tiles for an existing suspended ceiling grid. We will be using standard plasterboard sheets measuring approximately 2400mm x 1200mm. Each sheet needs to be accurately cut into 1200mm x 600mm ceiling tiles. We will need approximately 180 ceiling tiles in total.
