Roof repair required - to stop water coming into our walls. The water is coming in via cracked ridge and hip bedding. There is cracked mortar across the valleys and rusted valleys with holes across them. Cracked mortar across the ridge caps, rusted valleys and flashings across the chimney have deteriorated We have a full report from a roofer which can give a lot more details and photographs of issue. To repair: (A) Roof flashing's and capping's to be tightly notched and fastened to withstand wind pressures and thermal movements. (C) Intersections, laps and mitres are to be fastened and sealed. (F) All joints are to be watertight on completion of installations. The mortar. Across the valleys needs repair We are just after a repair to last for a shorter period of time rather than a full roof replacement
Liam is very competent, friendly and engaging. Identified and rectified the roof problems quickly and noted other potential issues that might need addressing. Completion was delayed due to weather illheath and availability of materials but once on site replaced an entire valley flashing and recemented the tiles in the space of a morning. Very pleased, happy to recommend
