The job involves: Removal: Disconnecting and removing the old 60cm rangehood (recirculating setup). Shelf Adjustment: The mini cupboard above has a horizontal width of 60cm and a depth of 30cm. The internal base shelf needs to be unscrewed and raised upward by roughly 8cm to 10cm, so the final clearance to the gas cooktop is at least 650mm (please confirm this measurement before final fixing). Door Trimming: The two mini cupboard doors will need 8cm to 10cm cleanly trimmed off the bottom edge to match the raised shelf. Important tool requirement: Because the kitchen cabinets are laminate over particleboard/chipboard, please use a clean-cutting circular saw or track saw with a fine-tooth blade to prevent the laminate edges from chipping or splintering. Hi, I’m looking for someone to install, including ducting for a new rangehood. The rangehood is a Smeg Victoria chimney-style rangehood, and there is currently no existing ducting to the outside, so a new ducted exhaust will need to be installed through eave. It’s a low set one story house. Tasker to provide ducting for room and external vent. There is a manhole for access. Electrical has been completed- they have installed a movable electrical outlet. I need an experienced handy person to install a re-circulating rangehood into an existing kitchen cavity. The rangehood is re-circulating (no ducting or electrical work required). The overall objective is to install the rangehood, but there are some anticipated steps (but I will require you to do all things necessary to install the rangehood within the agreed price): 1. The cabinetry has 2 ‘filler’ blocks obstructing the rangehood slot. These need to be cleanly removed without damaging surrounding cabinetry.
