There appears to be some corrosion around the connection. Replace my hotwater system to 26 lt gas system.

We need to take out a panel on the ceiling and find out once and for all what is causing this water mark each time. It might be a very straight forward problem. If anyone can do the whole task (taking out the ceiling panel, plumbing, inserting a new panel and painting) that would be terrific. However, we understand that the task may need to be completed in stages. Someone did actually complete a similar job for us in the same spot about 6 months ago but the mark can back, although not as large as last time. We know there is nothing electric under the panel and my other half says he can potentially do this part of the job himself (removing the panel). However, we will need someone to then fix the underlying issue on the same day. I think it is most likely a toilet leak or a shower up there. We have decided Wednesday would be a good day to complete the job but are open to other days too in the next week. We will need someone who is certified in plumbing. Price will depend upon how much of the job you can do.

I have the new mixer and can replace myself, but was unaware I needed a licenced plumber in QLD to do it legally. I need to provide an invoice to the real estate 😊

There is a leakage in the joint between the down pipe into the rain water tank
