I need a skilled handyman to mount a bamboo shelf/cabinet with a mirror door onto a drywall (plasterboard) surface. The Specifics: The Item: Bamboo mirror cabinet (Weight: 2-3kg). The Wall: Standard drywall, but no studs are available in the desired mounting area. The Challenge: There are live electrical cables running within the wall behind the mounting spot. Requirements for the Tasker: Detection: You must bring a reliable stud/voltage finder to precisely map the wiring before drilling. Hardware: Since there are no studs, you will need to provide 2x high-quality hollow-wall anchors (e.g., GripIts, heavy-duty toggle bolts, or Cobra WallDrillers) capable of supporting the weight of the cabinet. Experience: Please only bid if you have experience mounting heavy items in "active" walls and are confident in cable avoidance.

Blinds bracket came off and need fixing to the gyprock ceiling (probably need backing)

I’m trying to hang a painting (2m wide) in my living room. The wall is made from plasterboard, but behind that is another material (I think) which is much more solid - maybe concrete? As suggested, I tried using drywall anchors to hang the painting, but while screwing them in, I suddenly hit the solid section of wall (which I wasn’t aware of before) and the anchors would not go any further. Unsure of what to do, I removed them and drilled a small pilot hole through the solid bit and tried screwing them back in. They went all the way in this time, but (unsurprisingly) they felt loose in the wall and one started spinning when I put a screw in it. So now I’m just left with two fairly big holes in my wall. I would like to find a way to salvage these holes and use them to hang the painting but I’m not sure of the best method / screw / anchor type to do that. Someone suggested using a toggle bolt in the existing hole, but I also can’t find a cavity behind the wall. I’m sure there is one but I’d rather not make a bigger mess looking for it. If you think you can help, please let me know. Ideally, I’d like the work done tomorrow (Tuesday 30th), in the morning or midday latest. Wednesday could work too. Two small jobs in one: 1) Remove bottom 15cm of 275cm brick wall (loose as seen in pictures) and apply new render. No painting needed. 2) Apply new plaster to 120cm x 90cm area in bedroom where it fell off. Area includes on ceiling light and one edge as pictured. No painting needed Note: budget and scope is both jobs, do not want to separate. Preference is for job to be done after January 8th.

Need someone to fix patch in wall.

After changing the location of our ceiling fans we have a small hole in the gyprock ceiling from a previous install. Wish to have this patched and fixed up. The hole is about 4 inches or less wide.

Need these holes repaired. First picture is the biggest the other 3 are very small

There are existing holes in the wall that are too large. Would like to utilise the same holes to put up hooks to hang the picture frame securely. The frame will be above the bed, so it needs to be secure and not fall off. You’ll need to supply a wire or a thick string to tie the back of the frame and hooks etc.

Hi there Have two holes in a wall that I need patched and then painted (have paint). The holes are approx 200mm in diameter. Needs to be done before Monday, anytime before this.

Hang 3 curtains in the positions where they have been before falling.( short curtains for a kitchen including). 2 pairs of brackets needed plus 2 or 3 rods. Gyprock wall

I am looking for a plasterer to reseal a bulkhead that was opened to install new Air conditioning . This request is for the supply installation of the plaster ready for me to paint. The space is 10 m long and half a metre wide. 5 m² in total.
