Looking for an experienced handyman or painter to sand, prep, and refinish several exterior timber elements across our home. Scope of Work: First & Second Story Gable / Barge Boards: Scrape peeling paint, light sand, prime, and apply two coats of exterior paint to match existing trim color. (Requires two-story extension ladder access). Porch Beam & Support Post: Sand down worn timber beam/post to remove old clear coat/oil, prep, and apply 2 coats of exterior timber sealant/oil. Slatted Timber Gate & Screen: Light sand slatted timber structure (including gaps/edges) and apply exterior timber stain/oil. Window Frame & Sill: Sand ground-floor timber window frame and sill, mask off glass and render cleanly, and re-seal/varnish. Supply Breakdown: Owner will supply: Paint (for color match) and timber oil/stain. (Also have an orbital sander if needed) Tasker to supply: Drop cloths, masking tape, sandpaper/sanding sheets, brushes, rollers, power sanders, and extension ladders/safety gear for 2-story access.

We need someone to fit new skirting to a whole single story house to 4 bedroom two living zones one dining. We have the removed all skirting ready for our new skirting. Attached is an example of some of the rooms.

An upstairs unit needs 1 coat on walls in living/dining room. The bathroom and small passage needs more so a bit of sanding and will need a second coat. Additionally small areas like entry, etc equal to one wall so excl bedrooms and I WILL BUY DULUX PAINT SO LABOUR AND EQUIP ONLY. I will do some patching prior and can help. I require painting of two external walls as indicated by the yellow highlighted in the elevation photo. As you can see, there are spots which 'pop out' due to a poor touch up. As a result, I require the entire areas to be painted again with a single coat over the top. Paint is a low sheen, and will be supplied to you. This should take approximately 2 hours to complete.
