Minor repairs, such as patching small holes or sanding rough surfaces, will be performed if required. 2. Client-Supplied Materials • Provided Materials: The client will supply all necessary materials, including paint, paint brushes, rollers, primer, and sanding paper. 3. Responsibilities and Liabilities • Contractor Responsibilities: The contractor agrees to: • Complete the work as outlined in the scope of work, using best practices to ensure high-quality results. • Take reasonable care to protect the premises and surrounding areas from paint or related materials. • Contractor Liability: The contractor will be liable for any damage caused to the client’s property as a direct result of the painting process, except in areas where damage occurs due to pre-existing conditions or client-provided materials. 4. Timelines and Working Hours • Estimated Timeframe: The painting project is estimated to take two working days, subject to uninterrupted access to the room. • Working Hours: Standard working hours for this project are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be a break from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm each day. Any modifications to this schedule will require mutual agreement between the contractor and the client. 5. Cleanup and Disposal • Site Cleanliness: The contractor will ensure the work area is left in a clean and orderly condition at the end of each workday. Upon project completion, all painting materials and protective coverings will be removed. • Waste Disposal: The contractor will dispose of any waste materials related to the painting process. The client is responsible for the disposal of any remaining, unused client-supplied materials.

Preparation and painting of combined kitchen/living room. Looking at undercoat and 2 x coats. I already have the paint. A painter was due to come today, he didn't show or reply to messages. This weekend would be ideal as the room has been cleared of all furniture.
