Strip paint (oil based) from balcony tiles

I have a timber dining table, which I was having issues sanding the water based lacquer and i used paint stripper and it was hardened on the top i really need help to remove. it says to reapply the paint stripper to remove, but I’m too scared to do it as I don’t want to stuff it up.
