Looking for a qualified appliance technician or experienced electrician to inspect and diagnose an issue with an oven at my property in Southbank. This task needs to be completed tomorrow. Issue: When preheating the oven, smoke began coming from the side of the unit along with a strong burning smell. It has been described as smelling like burning wires. The oven was used recently without any issues, so the fault appears to have developed suddenly. Scope of works: • Diagnose the cause of the smoke and burning smell • Inspect wiring and terminal connections for any electrical faults • Check the fan motor for signs of overheating or failure • Inspect the heating elements for cracks, damage, or burn marks • Check for any debris or foreign objects that may be causing the issue • Advise whether the oven can be repaired on site or if replacement parts are required • Complete any minor repairs on the spot if possible

We have one switch which controls the bathroom extractor fan and also the laundry cupboard light. The extractor fan works, but the light doesn’t we have replaced the bulb which has not helped. Could be a faulty switch that needs replacing. Regarding the oven bulb, sometimes the light works and sometimes it doesn’t.

Hi, looking for an electrician to replace Oven. Old one is Miele 60cm, new one is Bosch 60cm HBA572EB3A. Oven is Hardwired. Though both the models (old and new) are 60cm, I am not sure if any cabinet trimming or modification might be required, please factor that in too. Would require Certificate of Compliance. Location is Doncaster East.

Disconnect the old oven Bosch HSG656XB6A (no plug) and install the new Bosch HBF134EB1A (10A plug). I will keep the old oven.

I need my existing kitchen oven housing cabinet increased by 10cm. I have an existing 90cm x 50cm x 57 oven which is being replaced with a new one that is 90x 57 x 57 so I need the housing adjusted. There is a 20cm drawer below so this can be used (10cm) to increase the housing to fit the new oven in. Therefore need sufficient skills to increase size using this drawer space including making the remaining 10cm gap good - probably by using the existing drawer cover and cutting in half and fitting (ie no long a drawer as it isn’t used anyway).
