Task Description: Looking for an REC / Licensed A-Grade Electrician to decommission an old circuit, fit off, and certify a new appliance circuit in North Melbourne week of Mon12-Fri17 (delay in oven delivery until then). The appliance is a Beko freestanding oven with an induction cooktop (Model:BFC60IPAN). I have worked as an electrician's apprentice, so I am handling the manual labor to save you time. All conduits and junction boxes are already fixed, masonry holes are prepped, and the 6mm cable is pre-routed and ready for your visual inspection. Scope of Work: 1. Decommission an existing 20A circuit at the switchboard. 2. Install a supplied 40A RCBO (matched to the existing busbar). 3. Fit off a supplied 45A isolation switch near the appliance. 4. Final termination and fit-off to the new Beko freestanding cooker. 5. Mandatory testing (IR, polarity, earth continuity) and issuance of a Victoria Certificate of Electrical Safety (COES). Materials I am providing: • 40A RCBO (busbar compatible) • 45A isolation switch • 6mm copper cable, conduits, and junction boxes Note: You must hold a current Victorian A-Grade electrical license and be able to issue a COES. The existing oven cupboard/opening is approximately 700mm wide, so there will be extra space on both sides of the new oven. The job will involve: * Adding suitable timber/wood supports to both sides inside the cabinet to reduce the opening and provide a strong fixing/support point for the new oven. * Making sure the new 600mm oven can be fitted securely and correctly. * Covering the remaining visible gaps on both sides with matching or similar cabinet board/panels so the finished installation looks neat and professional. * Cutting and fitting the panels neatly to match the existing cabinetry as closely as possible. The oven installation/electrical connection can be done separately if required. The main job is modifying and finishing the cabinet so it is ready for the new oven.
