Repair Curtain Rod – Centre Bracket Pulled Out (Adelaide) I’m looking for an experienced handyman to repair my curtain rod. there appears to be a cavity behind the plaster, so they may need to use hollow wall anchors (toggle bolts or similar) rather than ordinary plaster plugs Also the wall needs patching up I believe and / or the bracket may need replacing? The centre support bracket has pulled away from the wall, causing the curtain rod to sag. The end brackets are still in place. I need someone to: * Inspect the damaged fixing. * Securely reattach or replace the centre bracket. * Use suitable wall anchors/fixings if required. * Ensure the curtain rod is level and strong enough to support the curtains. Installation is 27m of 75mm curved plaster cornice and flushing of approximately 30 m of existing joints that have opened slightly in lounge/dining room ceiling. Ceiling height is 2800mm at centre flat section sloping to 2400m high at cornice height on a tray ceiling.
