Hi I've painted my house myself, but in the midst of this I've got water based paint on 4 aluminium window frames. Not everywhere, but across certain areas by accident. I've been told it needs warm water and soap scrubbed on with a scourer to loosen it. Then it needs to be scrubbed off with metho spirits and a scourer. I've also bought white plastic (hard) spatulas. Regular metal spatulas are scratching the aluminium. It's just a job that's going to take a few hours that I have been struggling to find.
