My automatic sliding gate is currently not opening or closing properly and needs repair. The issue appears to be with the gate latch/receiver and alignment near the brick pillar. The metal catch that locks into the wall-mounted receiver is misaligned or not engaging correctly, which is preventing the gate from operating as it should.

Automatic gate has disengaged from runner and won’t open or close. I need someone to fix it and recalibrate it. I can’t even work out how to disengage the motor.

Automatic gate system needs replacing. The controller is no longer working and hence failing to open the gate. Upon inspection it was reported that the power supply and the motors also need replacing. Motors are seizing apparently. I need an experienced fencing contractor or handyman to repair my side timber gate in Toowoomba. Please note that some of the attached photos were taken before the gate fully collapsed, so its current condition is worse than shown in some images. I am looking for a proper long-term repair, not a temporary fix. The job includes inspecting the gate, frame and posts, rehanging and realigning the gate, and replacing all worn or damaged hardware with new heavy-duty components, including hinges, latches, catches and any other fittings required. I would like a heavy-duty drop bolt (slide-down ground bolt) installed to secure the gate when closed, as well as an additional heavy-duty sliding bolt or locking bolt fitted around the middle of the gate so it can be securely locked and supported when required. Any additional support hardware needed to prevent future sagging or failure should also be installed. I would also like a suitable hold-open mechanism fitted so the gate can be secured in the open position and not swing shut in windy conditions. Please inspect the existing posts and advise whether any post movement may have contributed to the failure. I am looking for someone experienced in gate and fencing repairs who can provide a strong, reliable repair that will last, as I intend to replace the entire fence at a later date. Please quote including labour and materials and provide details of your experience with similar gate repairs.

Detach large metal gate. Remove cemented in timber gate post. Replace with metal post. Reattach gate. It already has new hinges to be re-used.

Looking for a handyman or fencer to reinstall a timber gate with steel frame that was removed on side of our house for construction in the backyard. Hole for post is still there, gate still attached to post, latch still attached to externall wall of house. One missing panel that was damaged in the removal.
