I need help repairing and reinforcing my wooden side gate to make it more secure. 1. I have got 5-6 full size extra planks with me. 2. Security Reinforcement: • Install metal spikes or anti-climb strips on top of the gate to deter intruders. • Add a diagonal brace (Z-brace) to stop the wood from flexing or sagging. • Optionally, install a metal reinforcement bar or strip to make the gate more resistant to being kicked in. • Check for any weak spots around the posts or hinges — reinforce them with concrete or post supports if needed. Keep hearing flipping or bottle got kicked sound, especially during windy day. I am thinking it is extractor fan. Maybe wind blow from outside to inside and move the blade. The source i am 90% sure is from the fan

Gate was recently installed and it has not managed with the winds. Hinge is bent, additional hinge needs to be added to support weight, gates need to be moved down as they are too far above the ground, concrete and pipe added to ground. The ground pin is good into dirt. Happy to hear any other recommendations to strengthen the gate to handle the wind.

I have come home and opened the garage and heard it was making a loud noise. Some metal has come off and the motor gate cannot roll up. I’m so sad. It’s quite new. My friend has looked over it saying it’s probably the motor problem that he can’t fix.
